The Spire GT-3 was designed in 2010 for the 2011 season winning on its first outing. Since then nonstop development has resulted in 10 class and overall championships in the 750mc Sports 1000 Championship, including winning 40 consecutive races and setting a new lap record at each circuit visited.
2013 saw the GT-3 move into the 750mc Bikesports championship. A full aerodynamic package was designed, tested and developed to match the slick racing tyres. Against well established manufactures the GT-3 won its first race, the championship outright and smashed 5 lap records in a car with a 1000cc engine.
In 2014 we introduced a central seated version of the GT-3. Using the same proven chassis components, upgraded braking, more downforce and the introduction of a Suzuki 1340cc engine. This resulted in winning another Bikesports championship.
The BRSCC Open Sportscars Championship welcomed the GT-3 in 2014 and it delivered a class win and 2nd outright, it also took pole position for 2 other races.
2014 also saw the GT-3 race in the Castle Combe Sports Racing Car Series setting 2 pole positions and 1 race win.
A HUGE achievement was setting the fastest lap of 2014 at Cadwell Park this was also the second fastest lap of Cadwell Park EVER!!!!
2015 was one of the most successful seasons for Spire. A new lighter and more refined central seated GT-3 was built for the 2015 season. Entering in 750MC Bikesports, BRSCC Open sportscar championship, Castle Combe sports racing car series and various other open races.
The car won 29 from 30 races, (a damaged exhaust forcing a retirement) The most wins for any car and driver in 2015 worldwide.
